Tia Imani Abraham is a proud member of the Charlotte Amalie High School Chicken Hawk family. This 2009 Honor Society inductee excels in English, French and Social Studies. She is civic-minded and committed to community service.

Tia is currently a member of the National Honors Society, the Environmental Club, the French Club, Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Students Promoting Awareness, Responsibility, Knowledge and Service (S.P.A.R.K.S.) and a past member of the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC).

During her sophomore year, Tia successfully participated in the Medical Explorers White Coat Program at the Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center. In her junior year, she was selected to participate in the United Nations Scholars Program where she gained invaluable experience on the inner workings of the United Nations in New York City, under the tutelage of Dr. Carlyle Corbin, the former Minister of State for External Affairs for the United States Virgin Islands Government. During that same year, she was selected participated in College Business Residency Program at the University of the Virgin Islands. The mission of this program was to spark the entrepreneurial spirit within young adults. She was also nominated and invited to participate in the Congressional Student Leadership Conference.

On June 12, 2011, Tia will be a graduate of the Charlotte Amalie High School. She has decided to matriculate at the University of the Virgin Islands, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
